POSITION: This position will be responsible for reviewing shipment materials before distributions, collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes. This position is also responsible for overseeing daily logistics and warehouse operations. This includes ensuring timely and accurate driver check in and order processing, managing dock flow, supporting inventory control, and providing direct supervision and coaching to Logistics team members.
LOCATION: The position is based at Drink Pak’s headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for creating outbound orders in Drink Pak’s WMS and coordinating with the Forklift Drivers to ensure shipment accuracy and prioritization
Responsible for scheduling outbound appointments
Preparing bill of ladings (BOLs)
Oversee the check-in process for all arriving drivers, ensuring appointment schedules are maintained, and documentation is accurate.
Provide real-time guidance to drivers unfamiliar with QR code-based check-in protocols to ensure efficient yard flow.
Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and on-the-job support to team members to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent execution of work.
Support the development of team skills by reinforcing standard work, training expectations, and modeling positive behaviors aligned with SIP values.
Manage Lot L16 activity including periodic lot checks and removal of unauthorized vehicles to mitigate congestion and delays.
Coordinate tanker truck arrivals at L16 and B18 following standardized procedures and safety protocols.
Serve as the first point of contact for logistics-related inquiries from customers and transportation providers via phone and the shared group email accounts:

Monitor inboxes and triage time-sensitive issues while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
Manually create and process orders for non-EDI-enabled customers (e.g., OLP, MEC, TRB), ensuring all entries meet accuracy and compliance standards.
Serve as back up internal support for the RPA Order Entry lifecycle:
Verify incoming RPA-based orders for completeness and accuracy.
Onboard and train new customers in DrinkPak’s RPA systems and processes.
Coordinate with RPA Support on system issues, troubleshooting, user testing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Maintain the Drop Trailer calendar within YVP to optimize yard space and trailer availability.
Investigate and resolve anomalies, including but not limited to missing drop trailers, tankers, and misrouted/misloaded trailers and other shipping errors.
Serve as back up internal support to DrinkPak teams for YVP-related questions or troubleshooting and collaborate with YVP and Scale Support teams on API integration and system stability.
Coordinate internal destruction requests through Harmony and ensure records are logged accurately.
Delivering structured training on core systems and processes such as driver check-ins, YVP platform usage, RPA workflows, and communication protocols.
Coaching new team members through troubleshooting scenarios and escalation procedures.
Reinforcing adherence to internal SOPs and logistics standards.
Acting as a go-to resource for operational support, knowledge sharing, and skill development across the logistics team.
Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
Accomplishes special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management
Compliant to all safety rules and regulations, GMP’s and all Drink Pak’s policies and procedures
Establishes and maintains high standards for quality, housekeeping and productivity

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma; Associate degree+ preferred
At least 3 years of experience in Field or similar manufacturing / warehouse environment; 3+ years preferred
Forklift Certification preferred
Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
Strong project management, time management, organization, and communication skills
Detail oriented and ability to problem solve and cross check documentation
Ability to lead by example, resolve conflict, and drive accountability.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends if needed

Lift
Vertically transfer product/drink cases weighing up to 10 lbs from a start height of 36 inches to an end height of 12 inches from the floor up to 108 times per hour if needing to down stack a pallet to reach a leaking product.
Lift and Carry
Vertically transfer full propane tank (with help) weighing up to 25 lbs (50 lbs total weight) from a start height of 46 inches to an end height of 32 inches from the floor and horizontally transferring it a distance of 10 feet up to 1 times per day to replace Forklift tank.
Vertically transfer empty propane tank weighing up to 17 lbs from a start height of 32 inches to an end height of 46 inches from the floor and horizontally transferring it a distance of 10 feet up to 1 times per day to replace Forklift tank.
Climb
Ascend and descend a step with a height of 15 inches from the floor up to 10 times per hour for getting on and off the forklift.
Sit
Assumes a seated posture up to 1 hour continuously for a total of up to 12 hours.
BASE HOURLY COMPENSATION RANGE: $29.00 per hour/ $2.00 per hour shift differential
