QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Knowledge of common methods and practices used by school systems in creating a safe environment;

• Knowledge of applicable laws;

• Knowledge of basic computer operating systems, email and calendars;

• Excellent communication skills;

• Sound judgment and logical reasoning with a keen sense of observation and memory;

• Ability to assist in investigations and follow them through to logical conclusions; and

• Must maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Graduation from high school and two (2) years of work experience beyond high school, preferably in a security field.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

None required.

No direct supervisory responsibilities.
