Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics & Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee daily floor execution for shipping/receiving to ensure all orders ship on time and carrier pickups are smooth.
- Review complex Bills of Lading (BOLs), hazmat/freight documents, and international shipping labels for compliance.
- Audit workspace safety and enforce facility cleanliness and equipment maintenance protocols.
- Inventory Control & Management:
- Lead cycle count schedules; independently investigate and reconcile system-vs-physical stock discrepancies.
- Train floor personnel on accurate ERP/WMS data entry and handheld scanner protocols.
- Optimize bin storage locations and warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and FIFO compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality assurance escalations; collaborate directly with procurement on vendor returns/shortages.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive inventory/warehouse logistics experience in a lead or senior capacity.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP/WMS software, Microsoft Excel (lookup functions, data filtering), and freight management systems.
- Attributes: problem-solving skills, ability to lead by example, and clear communication under pressure.
- Forklift experience - will use walkie pallet stacker
