Logistics Coordinator (Domestic & International) The Opportunity Are you a logistics professional with a sharp eye for efficiency and a passion for global distribution? We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our transportation and distribution systems, ensuring our products reach their destination economically, safely, and on time.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an environment with well-defined technical procedures and clear guidelines, offering the chance to manage both internal fleet operations and external global carrier relationships.
Your Impact
- System Optimization: Analyze transportation and distribution procedures to ensure the most efficient delivery of organization products.
- Rate & Regulation Analysis: Review proposals and provide recommendations for modifications in rates, freight classifications, and tariff regulations.
- Fleet Management: Coordinate the full lifecycle of fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, scheduling, maintenance/repair, and disposal.
- Carrier Coordination: Strategically hire and manage common carriers (3PL) as needed to supplement internal operations and ensure delivery efficiency.
- Compliance & Evaluation: Constantly evaluate operating efficiency to ensure all shipments adhere to proper delivery protocols and cost standards.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in logistics or transportation coordination.
- Global Expertise: Proven experience in both domestic and international logistics is a requirement.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of freight classifications, tariff rates, and fleet maintenance routines.
- Operational Skills: Ability to work within established procedures while managing various work routines across fleet and carrier management.
- Bonus Skills: Prior experience in inventory management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
Analyzes transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products. Reviews proposals and makes recommendations for modifications in rates and transportation regulations. Evaluates freight classifications, tariff rates and operating efficiency to ensure the proper delivery of products. Plans and coordinates fleet operations, including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance service and repair, and disposal of trucks, and hires common carriers (third-party transportation companies) as appropriate.
