Join a high impact cybersecurity team responsible for coordinating enterprise vulnerability remediation across Windows, Linux, and Citrix environments. This role serves as the primary liaison between Security Operations, Infrastructure teams, and Change Management to ensure critical vulnerabilities are remediated quickly, accurately, and in compliance with organizational standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong ServiceNow experience, expertise in change management and CAB processes, and the ability to drive remediation efforts from identification through closure. responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track server vulnerability remediation activities from assignment through closure.
  • Review, triage, and manage vulnerability remediation tasks within ServiceNow IT Remediation Workspace.
  • Facilitate remediation efforts for emergency, high-risk, exception-based, and out-of-band vulnerabilities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Security, Server Operations, Infrastructure, and other support teams.
  • Monitor remediation progress, dependencies, and outstanding actions to ensure compliance with established policies and timelines.
  • Create, update, and manage Vulnerability Remediation Tasks (VUL), Change Requests, and Configuration Items (CIs) within ServiceNow.
  • Maintain accurate remediation documentation, implementation plans, testing procedures, validation results, and rollback strategies.
  • Prepare and submit Normal and Standard Change Requests for remediation activities.
  • Present remediation-related changes to Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and address stakeholder questions.
  • Coordinate remediation activities across Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), and Citrix environments.
  • Maintain detailed tracking of vulnerabilities, approvals, implementation status, and closure evidence.
  • Support audit, compliance, and leadership reporting through accurate remediation metrics and status reporting.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to remediation and change management workflows.

 
qualifications:
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience coordinating server vulnerability remediation in an enterprise environment.

3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including Change Management and IT Remediation Workspace.

3+ years of experience working with change management processes and presenting changes to CAB.

Practical knowledge of Windows Server, Linux Server, and Citrix infrastructure environments.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent remediation initiatives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive remediation activities to completion.

Experience documenting remediation activities and maintaining audit-ready records.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting vulnerability remediation within government, regulated, or large enterprise organizations.

Familiarity with vulnerability management processes involving Security Operations Centers (CSOC), Infrastructure, and Application teams.

Experience coordinating emergency or out-of-band remediation efforts.

Exposure to audit, compliance, and security evidence collection activities.

Proven success managing high-risk vulnerability remediation and exception-based security issues.

Experience improving remediation processes and reducing remediation delays across multiple technology platforms.
