This role will oversee the HQ campus in Santa Clara and reports directly to the Director of Global Safety & Security Operations.
This is an in office role in our HQ, Santa Clara, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Creativity counts! Work with senior leadership – and ultimately every employee to translate company culture, values, and strategies into practical applications for safety and security - We don’t want static “standards”, but we do want to clearly articulate certain principles and guidelines, as well as a continuously-evolving collection of best practices
Act as a business enabler, with a service-first mindset to keep all employees and visitors safe
Drive development and delivery of security awareness programs for employees that are relevant and relatable
Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to contracted security staff in achieving current and long-range strategic program objectives
Act as a liaison within the community and local law enforcement to maintain awareness of current security issues
Drive both cost and operational efficiency through the program as it scales
Conduct frequent drills and audits to ensure we’re delivering a best-in-class security program for our organization
Be a champion for diversity and inclusion
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years in a physical security role (risk management, loss prevention, emergency preparedness, military, law enforcement)
Deep analytical skills, the ability to identify, articulate, and manage risk, and excellent written skills to report on both safety and security-related risks
Superior language, written, and oral communication skills required
General understanding of physical and technical security systems
Comfortable leaning in to risk without sacrificing effective security response
Comfortable with ambiguity
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
