Seeking a Logistics Engineer for a high growth medical device distribution client in the Memphis, TN area.
The Logistics Engineer would be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing end-to-end logistics processes that improve material flow, reduce lead times, and ensure 100% compliance with global medical device regulations.

responsibilities:
- Process Design & Optimization: Use Industrial Engineering principles (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) to design facility layouts, determine personnel requirements, and create efficient material flow models (PFEP).
- Automation & Systems Integration: Serve as the SME for Warehouse Management Systems (SAP S/4HANA, EWM) and automated material handling equipment (Tuggers, conveyors, pick-to-light systems).
- Data Analytics: Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through PowerBI or Tableau to identify bottlenecks in inbound receiving, inventory management, and outbound shipping.
- Project Leadership: Lead "Project Knight" style site expansions or network capability enhancements, managing budgets, vendors, and timelines.
- Cold Chain & Compliance: Ensure logistics processes for temperature-sensitive products (5%-35% environment) meet stringent cGMP and FDA regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Quality Assurance, and 3PL providers to align distribution strategy with franchise demands.
