We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Dispatcher to manage our daily shipping and transportation operations. You will be the central point of contact between our production facility, truck drivers, and customers. Your goal is to ensure that all deliveries are scheduled efficiently, routes are optimized for cost and time, and any transit issues are resolved immediately to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling & Routing: Plan and coordinate daily driver schedules and delivery routes using GPS and Routing Software to ensure maximum efficiency and fuel savings.
  
  
• Driver Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers; provide clear delivery instructions, monitor their progress in real-time, and assist with troubleshooting on-the-road issues.
  
  
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and review shipping documents (Bills of Lading, manifests, and customs paperwork). Ensure all drivers comply with DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) tracking.
  
  
• Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to verify that loads are ready for pickup and that the correct products are being dispatched.
  
  
• Problem Solving: Rapidly respond to delivery delays, equipment breakdowns, or weather-related issues by rerouting drivers or notifying customers of updated ETAs.
  
  
• Data Entry: Maintain accurate records in the Transportation Management System (TMS) regarding delivery times, driver performance, and freight costs.
