We are seeking a data-driven, highly organized Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst to optimize our end-to-end maritime and domestic distribution networks. Based in our Deerfield Beach office, this role is critical to managing our rapidly moving import/export pipelines.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between heavy operational data and real-world execution, actively tracking container movements through Port Everglades and PortMiami, audit freight spend, minimize demurrage/detention fees, and ensure our inventory moves seamlessly from ocean vessel to warehouse floor.

Responsibilities

• Port Oversight: Monitor ocean freight; act as primary liaison with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and drayage carriers to ensure seamless container timelines through Port Everglades.
• Data & KPIs: Extract ERP/TMS data to build dashboards tracking On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery, Landed Cost per Unit, and carrier tender acceptance rates.
• Cost Optimization: Audit freight invoices, monitor fuel surcharges, and analyze spot vs. contract rates to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Inventory Alignment: Partner with procurement and warehouse teams to align vessel arrivals with local capacity, resolving bottlenecks proactively.
• Compliance: Ensure all import/export activities

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a quantitative field.
• Experience: 2–4 years in supply chain analysis or logistics with an ocean freight import/export track record.
• Tech Skills: Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Query); experience with ERPs (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or TMS.
• Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to turn raw shipping and warehouse data into actionable business strategies.
• bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish/Portuguese.
• Local Port Knowledge: Familiarity with Port Everglades/PortMiami workflows and drayage networks.
• Certifications: APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
