SUMMARY: Established medical equipment manufacturer is growing and adding an experienced Sales Director to their team in Brea, CA. In this crucial role, you will oversee a small sales team. You and your team will strategize to create and implement a plan to enhance market presence and increase market share of the healthcare or medical sectors in the US . Main responsibilities:Will establish and oversee the distribution channels and build relationships with business partners, prioritizing experience in Post Acute Care and Acute Care.Frequently participate in contract negotiations with distribution partners and drive revenue growth initiatives.Keep up to date on industry trends while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.Monitor sales performance and identify potential risks. REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a highly motivated individual who holds themself and their team to high standards including:10 years of experience in business development /sales management of “Medical Support Surface” / “Pressure Relief” products in the U.S. 5 years of related working experience with Span America, Invacare, Blue Chip, Kap Medical, Dynarex Corporation, Hill-Rom, or Arjo. Able to gain valuable insight based on existing in depth understanding of the medical and healthcare industry Successful experience in developing channels and businesses from start to finish.Ability to identify business needs and fulfill ambitious goals.Outstanding multi-tasking and people skills.Articulate communication skills (both verbal & written)Resourceful in utilizing your existing personal network to build and maintain strong relationships with potential business partners.
