We are currently hiring a Bilingual (English & Spanish) Golf Cart Roving Patrol Security Officer.

Please Note: A valid D-License and a Driver’s License are required for this position

Full Time Post Schedule- 40 hours

• MONDAY 4PM-12AM
• TUESDAY 4PM-12AM
• FRIDAY 10PM-6AM
• SATURDAY 10PM-6AM
• SUNDAY 10PM-6AM

Qualifications

• At least 25 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s License
• Clean driving record (No moving violations last 3 years)
• Valid D License
• Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Comfortable working with technology and surveillance software
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Must be willing to address emergencies promptly and appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

• Roving Patrol: Conduct regular and thorough patrols of assigned areas, checking doors, windows, and gates for signs of unauthorized access or suspicious activities. Remain alert and proactive in deterring potential security breaches.
• Observation and Reporting: Monitor surroundings and activities, promptly report any suspicious behaviors, safety hazards, or unusual incidents to the appropriate authorities. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities during patrols, ensuring all incidents are documented properly.
• Access Control: Verify and authorize the entry of employees, visitors, and contractors into the premises. Enforce access control procedures, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Emergency Response: Act swiftly and efficiently in response to emergencies, alarms, or other incidents, following established protocols to safeguard lives and property. Assist in evacuations and provide assistance to emergency responders as needed.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests from clients, visitors, and employees courteously and professionally. Maintain a helpful and approachable demeanor while ensuring security protocols are followed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with fellow security officers and law enforcement agencies to share information and enhance overall security measures. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless flow of information and coordinate responses to incidents.
• Patrol Documentation: Complete detailed and accurate reports outlining activities, observations, and any incidents encountered during patrols. Submit reports to supervisors in a timely manner for review.
