Description
Kentucky Horse Park is seeking qualified applicants for the position of KHP Executive Administrative Assistant in the office of Legal and Human Resources.
Located within minutes of downtown Lexington, the Kentucky Horse Park is a 1,224-acre working horse farm, equine theme park, and internationally renowned equine competition facility. Founded in 1978, the Park is owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and attracts over 1 million visitors from around the world annually. The Park includes a 260-site campground, the Alltech and Rolex arenas, the International Museum of the Horse, a Smithsonian affiliate, and much more.
The ideal candidate will be a hard worker, have professional office experience, have customer service skills, and work well with a team or on their own.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
- Provide professional support to the KHP President, Vice-President, General Counsel
- Drafts correspondence, reports, articles, speeches, and other legal or business documents
- Proofreads correspondence and reports for accuracy
- Schedules appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Receives, processes, and drafts legal, policy, and human resources documents
- Compiles data to be used in reports; interprets regulations and compliance data
- Maintains correspondence, legal documents, reports, and other business records
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
Sufficient education to assure knowledge, skills, and abilities to assist executive level management position. High School Diploma required; College hours or degree preferred. Prior experience in legal, human resources, or mid-to-upper management office setting preferred.
